THEBIGEAR
THEBIGEAR is a project coordinated by Francesco Michi
We intend to build an imaginary soundscape, imagining to have such a powerful ear that can perceive sounds coming from an endless acoustic horizon (click on "the project" for more).
Everyone can participate to the project… we are only asking you to describe the sounds you are hearing in this very moment exactly where you are… sounds in the room where you and your computer are, coming from the other rooms of your house, or from the outside, from the city or the countryside (to send your contribution click on "to participate").
AN IMAGINARY SOUNDSCAPE
Abito in una casa abbastanza silenziosa, sembra strano che a Napoli ciò sia possibile, ma è così. Dunque ora sento il ronzio del computer, il respiro del miocane, Nina, che dorme accucciata vicina: sembra una cucciola ma ha già 13 anni. E oggi abbiamo fatto una lunga passeggiata. In questo momento passa un aereo. Ne sento spesso. La mia casa è in alto, vedo cielo Vesuvio mare luci. Anche le imagini hanno suoni? In certo senso sì. Piove e sento la musica delle goccioline sulle alberi. Un clacson lontanissimo, un rumore molto attutito di una stoviglia spostata, nella casa a fianco e il telefono. Chiudo.
