THEBIGEAR
THEBIGEAR is a project coordinated by Francesco Michi
We intend to build an imaginary soundscape, imagining to have such a powerful ear that can perceive sounds coming from an endless acoustic horizon (click on "the project" for more).
Everyone can participate to the project… we are only asking you to describe the sounds you are hearing in this very moment exactly where you are… sounds in the room where you and your computer are, coming from the other rooms of your house, or from the outside, from the city or the countryside (to send your contribution click on "to participate").
AN IMAGINARY SOUNDSCAPE
Una macchina in strada, un'altra, e il sottofondo della TV, pubblicità, "capelli grassi" dalla TV, una moto, un motorino, dalla strada, la stazione dei treni in lontananza, regionale delle nove e trentasette in partenza, stridio remoto del treno sulle rotaie, e la sirena di una nave nella TV, una macchina, un'altra, pubblicità: "in vacanza Pantelleria", una macchina, un motorino, "voglio presentarti uno degli uomini", sta per cominciare il film, ma intanto una macchina, due motorini, fresh and clean, acqua scorre dalla TV, un momento di silenzio giù in strada. Musica, il film comincia, una canzone che sa di miti americani, di cose facili, e stelle.
