whoosh - an open window and a fan while my students take exams, car swooshes as street traffic passes by, the faint sound oe a woman answering her cell phone, and the rumble of the ventilation. swishes as fingers cruise the textbooks, searching for hints to answers. tinitis crickets in my old ears ringing slightly above all else. and the clicks as i type. my voice saying "five more minutes!" a sign from the back. people greeting on the street. happy voices.
