A cooking fan, sounds of stirring in a pot. Mostly the hum of kitchen hood-fan mixing with the fan on my PC. White noise, a suburban hum.
The cacophany of urban life -now the kitchen hood fan is turned off and the higher pitch whine of the PC fan has come more into my aural focus. I can distinguish between white noise pitch now. The hum of my apartments Air Conditioning has come on, it's all fans and background noise barely audible until it goes away.
