I sit deep down in a computer room at the University's physics department. Most of the ambient noise is blocked out by my large headphones playing Jazzanova's "remixes" CD (which is brilliant!). Despite this isolation, I hear the gentle roaring of huge fans, possibly the cryo-freezers cooling down some inert gases or trying to stabilize the high-power laser setups nearby
