the sounds I can hear are of my son playing on his computer game, wild futuristic noises of guns and spaceships whooshing, as he mutters often incoherent sounds to himself of his successes and failures during the game, the computer mouse clicking away furiously and the high pitched squeak of his chair as he rocks about on it. I can hear also the beautiful light rhythmic sounds of the keyboard on my laptop and the soft falling of rain outside against the window.
