Mid-range squeaking as I open the window to open the soundscape beyond the room and machine. . . a plane in the distance gently bouncing rumble, foreground windchimes for a moment, and a bird. Very faint hum of solar water pump moving water to the house cistern from deep storage. Pinon pines whisper in the wind, a little bit of rubbing of bare fruit tree branches, and the wind chimes again, six or eight notes, then still. Now just a soft whisper of wind on trees from the canyon wall a quarter mile away. . . . .
